MyZoox is not just a website; MyZoox is also a movement. We are trying to make MyZoox the first ever community where people can buy and sell any service possible from each other in a robust and protected community, all while keeping things friendly and simple enough for a child to use. We have kept things simple, but we have also included all the advanced functionalities you could hope for, such as: a project management system, ratings & feedback, profiles with the ability to display pictures and videos, and a payment gateway, just to name a few.
Who is MyZoox designed for?
MyZoox is mainly designed for individual freelancers, but we do welcome small businesses as well.
How do I change or update my registration information?
You may update your registration information in "Manage Your Account" section of your admin. You can find this on the right hand side of your admin.
What does the name MyZoox mean?
Zooxanthellae, commonly called zoox for short, is a microscopic algae that lives in a symbiotic relationship with coral in some coral reefs. Without the energy the zoox generate for coral, it would be impossible for individual corals to grow, connect, and build the great coral reefs of the world. Likewise, entering into a symbiotic relationship with MyZoox.com will enable an individual to build networks, or reefs, by using his or her own skills and knowledge to provide services to the world. Even though, zoox is really microscopic, we use bigger algae in our logo, so you all will be able to see it without a microscope!
How does MyZoox work?
MyZoox is very easy to use. First, you must register separately as an employer or a service provider.
If you login as an employer you can search or browse through service providers for free, or you can post a project to receive bids from service providers & choose the best bid for free.
After you choose the Service Provider you want to work with, you must ask them to upload a Project Agreement that outlines the exact agreement you two have made with each other (including price & project milestones, etc.). The project will begin once you accept the Project Agreement they have uploaded (done from "My Admin").
Finally, you will pay your service provider (from "My Admin"), and leave a feedback rating & comment for them as well to help other users on MyZoox decide if they would be willing to hire this provider for a similar project.
How much does MyZoox cost to use?
MyZoox is free to search, browse, post, & bid for projects. It is
totally free for an employer to purchase services on MyZoox as well. We
do offer a premium membership for service providers that want to
purchase a "featured profile".
Service providers will also have to
purchase Bid Pax if they use more than the standard 30 bids/month.
Upgrading to a "featured profile" will give the service provider 100
bids/month, & are only subject to a 5% transaction fee instead of the standard 10% transaction fee. Service providers will also be able to bid on projects when employers restrict bidding to only "featured members".
If an employer wants to upgrade a project listing to a
“Featured” or “Urgent” project, then they will have to pay a fee to do so.
What is the "My Admin" pg all about?
The "My Admin" page is the central command area of the MyZoox website.
"My Admin" for employers:
From this page, employers can post and edit projects, view quotes, communicate with service providers, manage Invoices, give and check feedback, & view and modify account information. The Friends Network is also accessible through the "My Admin" page.

Privacy protection
MyZoox.com is firmly committed to your privacy. The information contained within your account is only used to match your project to skilled Service provider. Your private contact information is never released to third parties.
No other member on the site will have access to your real name or any contact info that you do not post on your service provider profile or a particular project that you post as an employer.
To register at MyZoox simply the "sign up now" button in the middle of the homepage or the "sign in/register" link on the top right corner of the homepage, and choose to register as an employer or a service provider. Remember, you must register separately as a service provider and as an employer, depending on what you would like to do on MyZoox.
How do I modify my account info?
To modify your personal account information:
Sign in to your account.
On the My Admin page, click the "Modify Account" link.
Follow the instructions on the Modify Account page.
How do I delete an account?
To delete your account:
Sign in to your employer account.
On the My Admin page, click the "Delete Account" link on the right hand side in the "Manage Your Account" section.
Follow the instructions on the Delete Account page.
What do I do if I can't login?
To retrieve your username and password:
Click the "forgot uersername/password" link on the sign in page, then enter the email address you registered your account with.
Click the "Submit" button.
We will then send you an email with your account details.
Allow one hour for the email to arrive.
ALERT! If you have a Yahoo, Hotmail, etc. email account: (a) Check your bulk email folder and (b) Check your spam filters.
Once you receive the email, attempt to sign in.
If you still cannot sign in using the information in the email, follow cookie instructions below.
How to enable cookies?
Open Internet Explorer (not Netscape Navigator) as your browser.
Find the top toolbar that lists (from left to right) "File" "Edit"
"View" "Favorites" "Tools" "Help"
Click the word "Tools." On the tools drop-down menu, click the text "Internet Options."
Click the "Privacy" tab.
Near the bottom of the Privacy window area, click the "Edit" or "Sites..." button.
Under "Address of Web site," enter www.MyZoox.com.
Click the "Allow" button. Keep clicking "OK" or "Allow" until the Windows pop-up menu disappears.
You have now enabled MyZoox to access cookies. Attempt to sign in.
How to enable JavaScript
Open
Internet Explorer (not Netscape Navigator) as your browser. Find the
top toolbar that lists (from left to right) "File" "Edit" "View"
"Favorites" "Tools" "Help"
Click the word "Tools." On the tools drop-down menu, click the text "Internet Options."
Click the "Security" tab.
Near the bottom of the Privacy window area, click the "Custom Level" button.
Scroll down the window until you find the heading, "Scripting."
Make sure that all radio buttons under the "Scripting" heading are marked "Enable."
Click the "OK" button. Keep clicking "OK" until the Windows pop-up menu disappears.
You have now enabled JavaScript. Attempt to sign in.
If
you have tried all three of the above help suggestions, and you still
cannot sign in to your account, contact MyZoox at info@MyZoox.com.
You
requested the "Retrieve Username and Password" email and have not
received it, allow one hour for the "Retrieve Username and Password"
email to arrive.
If you have a Yahoo, Hotmail, etc. email account: (a) Check your bulk email folder and (b) Check your spam filters.
If the "Retrieve Username and Password" email has not arrived within one hour, try to retrieve your information again.
If you still do not receive the email, contact MyZoox at info@MyZoox.com.
How do I manage passwords & email preferences?
Changing Your Username or Password:
Click the "Change Username or Password" link on the right side
of your My Admin page in the "Manage Your Account" section to modify
the username and / or password associated with your MyZoox account. Modifying Your Email Preferences : Click
the "Modify Account" link on the right side of your My Admin page in
the "Manage Your Account" section & uncheck the box on the bottom
of the page.
The Friends Network on MyZoox allows you to add & accept friends like any other social network, except here at MyZoox you can also see all there services your friends have purchased on MyZoox and the ratings & feedback they have left for the respective service providers. You can also create groups and events to interact with other members on MyZoox with similar interests. We encourage you to get involved in the community and use each other as resources to better everyone's experience on MyZoox.
How to search my friends
To search for other MyZoox members, enter their name or email address into the "Friends Finder" box at the top of the friends page and then enter or return key on your keyboard. On the search results page, you can click "Refine Profile Search" link to search by various options, including email address, name, age, location, and more. Click the "Search People" button to find members meeting those criteria.
How do I edit my Top Friends list?
To edit your Top Friends list, click on "Friends" page from the MyZoox "admin" page and then click the "Top Friends" link. Then click the "Edit Members" link. On the Top Friends page, you can drag-and-drop your friends' photos to the order you want your Top Friends to appear on your profile. You can also add or remove Friends on this page.
