Membership options
 
 
  • You must select a membership type for each profile that you post on MyZoox.com. There are three profile memberships available:
    • Basic (free)
    • Featured (monthly subscription)

  • When you pay for a MyZoox Featured Membership, it only applies to the one profile you select.


  • You can upgrade more than one profile to Basic or Featured status.


  • Refer to the following chart to compare the membership types.

How to pay for a membership
 
  ZooxPay Account
PayPal
Credit Card

NOTE:  We do not offer refunds for purchased memberships. 


ZooxPay Account
To pay for a membership using funds from your ZooxPay Account:
  1. Sign in to your Freelancer account.
  2. On the My Admin page, click the "Upgrade / Renew Existing Profiles" link.
  3. Under the "Membership Types" column, click the radio button(s) next to the profile upgrades you wish to purchase. Click the "Continue" button.
  4. Confirm that you have selected to upgrade the correct profile(s) and click the "Continue with Purchase" button.
  5. Click the radio button next to "ZooxPay Account" and click the "Continue" button.
  6. After confirming your order, submit the payment. We will notify you by email when we receive your order and your membership is upgraded.

PayPal

NOTE: It will take up to two business days for a PayPal membership upgrade to post to your MyZoox.com account. Why the delay? To verify your PayPal payment, we must review our PayPal account.

To pay for a membership using PayPal:
  1. Sign in to your Freelancer / Service Provider account.
  2. On the My Admin page, click the "Upgrade / Renew Existing Profile(s)" link.
  3. Click the radio button(s) to select a membership type for one or more profiles.  Click the "Continue >>" button.
  4. Review your membership selection(s), and click the "Continue with Purchase" button.
  5. Select the radio button next to "PayPal," and click the "Continue" button.
  6. Review your membership selections, and click the "PayPal Payments" button.
  7. Follow the remaining instructions to complete your transaction.

Credit Card
To pay for a membership by Credit Card:
  1. Sign in to your Freelancer / Service Provider account.
  2. On the My Admin page, click the "Upgrade/Renew Existing Profile(s)" link.
  3. Click the radio button(s) to select a membership type for one or more profiles.  Click the "Continue" button.
  4. Review your membership selection(s), and click the "Continue with Purchase" button.
  5. Select the radio button next to "Credit Card," and click the "Continue" button.
  6. Review your membership selections, enter your Credit Card information, and click the "Submit Payment Now" button.

What is the CVV number?

CVV stands for Card Verification Value.  CVV helps merchants verify that the customer placing the order has physical possession of the card.  In addition, it verifies the authenticity of the card account.  The CVV number typically consists of three or four digits, and appears on the front or back of most major Credit and Debit Cards.  It is not part of the Credit Card account number.  We only require international Freelancers / Service Provider to enter a CVV number when paying with a Credit Card.


Where is the CVV number?

Visa MasterCard American Express
Look on the BACK of your Visa or MasterCard. The CVV number is the last three digits listed in the signature area of the card. Look on the FRONT of your AMEX card. The CVV number is listed above the Credit Card number on the right or the left side of the card.


No membership refunds or category transfers
MyZoox.com will not issue refunds for purchased Featured memberships.  Before you can submit and activate a profile on MyZoox.com, you must click the "I AGREE" checkbox confirming that you agree to the MyZoox.com Terms of Service.  The MyZoox.com Terms of Service clearly states that MyZoox.com is under no obligation to issue refunds for Featured profile memberships.  View the MyZoox.com Terms of Service.
 
 
How to upgrade or renew a membership
 
  To upgrade or renew your profile's membership:
  1. Sign in to your Freelancer account.
  2. On the My Admin page, click the "Upgrade / Renew Existing Profile(s)" link.
  3. Follow the step-by-step instructions on the Upgrade / Renew Membership pages to complete your transaction.
NOTE: You will be given an option during your initial upgrade to opt in to Auto-Renewal if you select ZooxPay or Credit Card as your payment method. You can change your preferences later.
If you choose not to opt into the Auto-Renewal option, we will send you two "Your Membership is Expiring" email reminders, the first two weeks before and another one day before the membership expiration date.

You can renew your membership anytime before its expiration date.
 
 
How to tell when your membership will expire
 
  We will not automatically renew your Featured membership.  It will expire if you do not proactively renew it.  Learn how to renew your membership.

We'll send you two "Your Membership Is Expiring" email reminders, the first two weeks before and another one day before the membership expiration date.

What happens if your Featured membership expires:
If you allow a Featured membership to expire, the profile associated with the membership will become Basic.

To view a membership expiration date:
  1. Sign in to your Freelancer account.
  2. On the My Admin page, click the "My Profiles" link.
  3. Locate the appropriate profile.
  4. The expiration date is listed next to the text "Expires."
 
 
How to obtain an Employer's ZooxPay Billing Code (Escrow)
 
  The Employer's Billing Code is a unique number given to each Employer on MyZoox.com. You must know your Employer's Billing Code to create a ZooxPay Escrow Request.

To obtain an Employer's ZooxPay Billing Code:
  1. Go to the Project Tracker (Awarded Projects) page. The Employer's Billing Code number is listed under the project's title and ID number.

  2. If the project is not listed on the Project Tracker (Awarded Projects) page, you must contact the Employer and ask them for their Billing Code. Employers can find their Billing Code on every email they receive from MyZoox.com as well as on their My Account pages. Using the Employer's Billing Code, be sure to move the project to the Awarded Projects page.

  3. If your Employer still cannot locate their Billing Code, tell them to email MyZoox.com at for assistance.
You must ask the Employer for their Billing Code. Staff at MyZoox.com cannot reveal an Employer's Billing Code to a Freelancer (without the Employer's express consent). This is a violation of our Privacy Policy.
 
 
How to obtain an Employer's ZooxPay Billing Code (Invoice)
 
  The Employer's Billing Code is a unique number given to each Employer on MyZoox.com. You must know your Employer's Billing Code to create an Invoice.

To obtain an Employer's ZooxPay Billing Code:
  1. Go to the Project Tracker (Awarded Projects) page. The Employer's Billing Code number is listed under the project's title and ID number.

  2. If the project is not listed on the Project Tracker (Awarded Projects) page, you must contact the Employer and ask them for their Billing Code. Employers can find their Billing Code on every email they receive from MyZoox.com, as well as on their My Account page. Using the Employer's Billing Code, be sure to move the project to the Awarded Projects page.

  3. If your Employer still cannot locate their Billing Code, tell them to email MyZoox.com at for assistance.
